The mental performance is very important. So why not to start with this training from a young age?

The psychology is part of every performance. A lot´s of children, teenagers and adults look for how to deal with pre-sports pressure and how to give maximum performance to which the body is prepared by long-term training. This question is very important for their coaches too. So part of the program of every meeting of the project Effective training and psychological approach to young cross-country skiers is psychology session or mental training.

This time, four hours of mental training were prepared for all participants.
Four hours seemed like a very long time in the program but it was quite short in reality. Everybody was drawn into the problems with easy exercises for everyone or experiments on the selected persons, often from coaches.

Everybody tried to move pendulums by just thinking about the direction of swinging or appeared how the muscles power (strength) and concentration are influenced by positive and negative ideas from us or our surrounding. The mental coach showed them that organics products are energy richer than man-made and that the water has memory and reacts on the harmony and disharmony. Visualisation technique helped four young athletes (13 and 14 years old) to be able to lift the adult Austrian coach up on the two fingers in a half meter high.

The program was bored for nobody and everyone gained new experiences and knowledge and skills which can use and work with them. Everybody - the athletes as well as coaches - have to work with it on their site first time and after that, they can influence their athletes and friends positively.
