The last training has to be incredible, such as the cherry on the cake...

The last training of the "ETPA" project was planned on Sunday morning. All camp should culminate with this training. The participants could choose from two options; running in the forest around Niedersedlitz and swimming in the reservoir Malter Talsperre or a run-hike trip through the National park Saxon Switzerland with rocks towers and with travelling by train. Finally, participants made two groups; the first chose the run and swim and the second the rock hike-run trip.

From Niedersedlitz to Königstein by train and after athletes and their coaches run-hiked and followed the red line Malerweg over the castle Königstein in village Thürmsdorf and on the rock vantage point Kleine Bärenstein and on the outskirts of the Rauenstein rock area into Kurort Rathen. There they were picked up by train into the Niedersedlitz (map).

The rock run-hike was quite difficult for everybody but the shadow, cold and humidity of the rock valleys were very pleasant in the hot weather. Nobody noticed that his legs rose up 650 meters. The downhill runs verified all legs of runners and prepared their ankles for the fall´s cross-country running.

The forest running and swimming was enjoyed by the second group as well as. So it seems that the program escalated with the last training and the 3rd meeting was more than successful!

And now, everybody looks forward to the last meeting in Skalka near Kremnice in Slovakia on the end of November (NOV 23-25).
